Luton Youth Concert Band, comprises brass, woodwind and percussion players aged 9 to 18 years old. The ensemble plays a range of concert band classics and contemporary music, as well as popular crowd-pleasers.
They rehearse every Tuesday during the school term and perform in an end of term concert with other Music Service ensembles. They also take part in local and national music festivals and are sometimes asked to play at local events and fundraisers.
They tour across Europe occasionally, most recently to Belgium 2011 and Germany 2017.
They are always looking for new players of grade 2 standard and above. Please get in touch with us to find out more.
